We’re too young to have our own website...

Well, probably not any longer...

The twins can be found by their friends on Facebook. And they’re in High School now! How the years go by...

A bunch of animals go to the Fair by Sylvia DuVernois (age 6)

One day a bunch of animals tried to go to the Fair, but the owner didn’t let them in, so they had to go in a different way. But they couldn’t find a different way! So they asked the owner for a different way, but he wouldn’t tell them. So they tried to find a different person. They looked and looked for a different person, and they finally found someone who was going to the Fair. They asked them if there was a different entrance to the Fair. There was only one other place they could go and that was where the people for the circus could go in so they did not have to pay. So they walked in and there was a bunch of people there, they told the animals to get out of the place. But the animals said that they wouldn’t. So they got into a fight and the animals won. They got into the circus and saw that they were in the rink where the performers were supposed to perform. The show was going to start in fifteen minutes. So they tried to find another place where they could go in for free. So they snuck around the corner and went into the seats. People were surprised that the animals were there. The animals found that people ate popcorn and they wondered where the popcorn was. But they didn’t have any money so they couldn’t buy the popcorn. And they saw that the people have blankets, but the animals did not have blankets. The people had brought them. So the animals just sat there and waited until the show started. And when the show started there was trapeze artists and tightrope watchers, and they couldn’t watch everything at once. So they just watched one at a time. It was amazing! And then the clowns came out and all of the animals wanted to be like the clowns. They started dancing like them, but they couldn’t do it exactly like them so they just pretended to wear funny costumes. Soon it was time to go home. So they went back to the forest and found out where the next show would be. But it was going to be in two months. And they went. One day a bunch of animals tried to go to the Fair, but the owner didn’t let them in…

The Forest by Mara DuVernois (age 6)

Once upon a time there lived a bear, deer, and a fox. They lived in the forest. It was fun most of the time. When it was not fun it was because it was raining or snowing or something like that. They would have to stay inside. They did not like that. They would growl, “grrrrr…grrrrr…” They would be outrageous. The other times they would have fun playing outside.

Owl, cheetah, tiger, and dog, they liked it when it was snowing or raining or other things like that. They did not like when it was sunny. They would growl, “grrr…grrrr…” They would play with cat, mouse, hamster, and snake. It was fun. I am going to get a goal said tiger.

Then deer, bear, and fox moved to owl, cheetah, tiger, and dog’s house. And cat, mouse, hamster, and snake moved into owl, cheetah, tiger, and dog’s house also. “Yay,” said deer, bear, fox, owl, cheetah, tiger, dog, cat, mouse, hamster, and snake. “We are all together!” “We are all together, and that’s all that matters.”

The End.
